I am thankful for the support my family & friends haves shown our family as my DH is deployed this year to Afghanistan. I am also thankful for how God has kept him safe thus far 🙂

A friend of mine heard me saying I needed some silver earrings and she brought over several pair out of the blue one afternoon that were from her own jewelry collection! She said they were some of her favorites but she had recently started her own jewelry-making business and had way more than she could use and she wanted them to go to someone she loved. So thoughtful!

I am grateful that my husband and I are in such a good place in our marriage, and a kind gesture is that many people have given me rides over the years since I don’t have my driver’s license.

I am grateful for the health of my family, especially my two gorgeous sons 🙂 I really look forward to reading your website and getting ideas on how to lower our debt, which is pretty huge right now. For a kind act story, we had a bakery down in our local mall that made the absolute most delicious ginger cake, so moist, but every time I stopped by, they would be sold out! One day, as I was at the school to pick up my guys, one of my friends walked up and handed me a ginger cake! She had just stopped by that day to get some baked goods and noticed there were ginger cakes and remembered how much I said I loved them. Isn’t that just so thoughtful and sweet? You never forget those kind of wonderful acts when they are directed towards you 😉

I am thankful for so much in my life, but most of all for my little boy.
I am also blessed with three sisters who are always there for me, each in her own way. One day I came home from work and discovered that my laundry was done. I knew that it could only be my sister, who took time of her day to do my laundry, so that I wouldn’t have to when I got home. The only thing I can do is thank her and try to pay it forward.
