I love this! My kids beg me for those lunchables things and I won’t buy them, but make them I can do! You can also include special needs kids in snack time like GF or DF so they’re not left out! Awesome Angela!

I’ve been reading your blog for a while now and was sent to you via Nester. I don’t usually comment but I did want to let you know you are blessing so many women with your blog, chronicling your journey and tips & insight. So I thought I’d push myself out of my comfort zone & post a comment. Thanks for the visual of the “Lunchables”, my kids love those and this is a great simple alternative on the cheap! Love your blog!

Staci, I’m not sure exactly what is in those, but you could use a Bento Box since you will have several different things. Can you cut tortillas or flat bread with a biscuit cutter and give him Turkey pepperoni (Aldi now carries this!) sauce and shredded cheese in the compartments? Crackers would work for these too.

We started these type of luncheons this school year. My son BEGGED for the lunchables until he started getting one of our homemade meals. He LOVES being able to pack his own….. šŸ™‚
