Happy New Year Gift for You :)

Previous years my resolutions have been pretty awesome.  So awesome that they never got done :).  So this year I’m making one simple resolution and made it in a chalkboard print to hang in my office.  If you click on the link below you will get a printable PDF version that will trim to an 8×10 and fit in a standard frame.

I made these after seeing Nest of Posie’s blog post here. Her Christmas prints are super amazing, way more amazing than these here.  I really like the chalkboard look, but not the chalkboard dust.  It’s a win-win :).

Happy New Year Angela! I have been reading for awhile but have never said hello. I enjoy reading about your life, especially the healthy, inexpensive recipes. Thanks for sharing with us!

Trish, Happy New Year! Thank you for taking the time to stop and say hello. I can’t tell you how I jump up and down when I get a real comment. I hope you come back :).

    Hi Angela,
Thanks for your wealth of info on nearly everything! 🙂 In regards to FYM, I have gotten many of the things she has sent out, but have been hesitant to “buy in” completly. (And maybe this is a question for Holly). My challenge is this: my knees (surgery on one) and I have a shoulder that I have torn the ligaments in (I clean houses & slipped). I can’t do the burpees, squats, kettle bells, or pushups without extreme pain in one or both areas. So want to build up strength. Feel kind of stuck with no way to do it. Any ideas?

Melody, Holly has modifications on the exercises to help, but your injuries sound like an extreme case. I would definitely ask Holly since she is a certified trainer and may have solutions. Does your physical therapist have ideas for you too? Would be awesome if this wasn’t a permanent condition for you and you could get back to full movement.

Thanks. I will check with HOlly as well. I have done “crawling” excersises for shoulder (where you work your hands up a wall until it’s outstretched & back again) and some to strengthen thighs to take pressure off of the knees. They help, but I feel I should be doing more. Will keep working on it. Thanks again, I appreciate your input. Blessings.
